Megaport’s Project Management Office is looking for an experienced PM to manage priorities across a number of global reaching projects. Working autonomously and having high attention to technical and organisational detail will enable this person to deliver quality results in a dynamic environment.

Megaport’s PMO is responsible for the delivery of strategic programs and key business initiatives across the organisation, to develop new products and features in addition to enhancing existing product capabilities. What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage multiple projects/programs of work derived from key initiatives across the organisation including Product /Engineering, Finance, Security & Data Governance to name a few.
  • Collaborate with business owners on new feature sets to outline project tasks and milestones.
  • Ensure timelines are met and resources/teams are managed in alignment with our strategic roadmap.
  • Consult with all the relevant project stakeholders to position feature upgrades/releases, identify and coordinate demo and training to various business teams as required.
  • Manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously, and report to the Project Management Office with project status updates.
  • Provide timely estimates, identify/highlight risks, as well as manage internal expectations around delivery; ensuring scope is managed and that stakeholders are satisfied and informed at all times.
  • Engage with external vendors or partners where appropriate to coordinate project deliverables.
  • Keep an eye for process improvements and be an enabler of the change.

What We Are Looking For

  • Extensive project management experience with managing multiple IT projects concurrently. Experience in Networking and ISO standards desirable.
  • Previous experience in building and improving Project Management processes.
  • Experience in delivering projects in Finance and/or Security & Data Governance space is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with strong communication skills, including ability to adapt information delivery based on target audiences.
  • Skills in problem resolution, team building, negotiation, establishment of effective processes, tracking results and support systems.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and complex cross functional environments.
  • An agile mindset with the ability to work in a transparent and collaborative manner.
  • Working with Jira and Confluence is desirable.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies preferred. e.g. SCRUM.
