Key Responsibilities and duties

  • Establish the engineering scope of works in consultation with Project Manager and according to client specifications and delivery considerations.
  • Leverage your technical expertise to meticulously review project briefs, guideline specifications, and contracts under the guidance and support of the Project Manager.
  • Provide onsite engineering services and technical support to ensure short term planning and programming of works is completed in conjunction with the site supervision staff as well as liaising with key internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the full spectrum of product testing including Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing and Commission Testing. Complete all relevant preparation for testing at least 24hrs prior to schedule.
  • Generate, collate and manage all documentation relating to quality, client product use and project protocols.
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the alignment of engineering solutions with organizational requirements.
  • Ensure project works are carried out in accordance with safety, quality and environmental management plans.
  • Flexibility to work weekend shifts and night shifts when required, and open to traveling across various sites throughout VictoriaAssist with on-site management to ensure project success
  • Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
  • Responsible for RFI and submittal process
  • Processes owner billings and project related accounting issues

Qualifications

  • Engineering qualification with a speciality in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Systems, Civil, Industrial, Mechanics, or related.

 

Work experience and skilss

  • At least 5 years of experience af professional industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with project wide level of planning, development and review of complex projects.
  • Skill in use of document and record management, progress and project performance reporting compliance and procedures.
