Project Engineer

Description:

CGC Recruitment have partnered with a long standing client Nationally who are at the forefront of the infrastructure boom in NSW and deliver major projects across a number of sectors including Roads, Rail, Defence, Renewables and Resources.

They have recently been awarded the contract for a $2b renewable project with construction to kicks off in 2024. This Transmission line is based in regional NSW with the first 12 months being office based prior to going on site in 2024.

Responsibilities

The position will report into the M&E Project Manager and will involve day to day Project Engineering duties in addition to mentoring Junior Engineers. Key responsibilities include:
 

• Review Design constructability across projects as required
• Implementation of Subcontractor/s to deliver works
• Documentation/Execution of Subcontracts in Conjunction of Procurement
• Implementation, Monitoring, Delivery of QA documentation and liaison with stakeholders for approval.
• Site Monitoring of site works across projects to ensure construction compliance with design and standard.
• Substation and transmission experience will be highly regarded.
