Blue Power Partners is a global consultancy and project development company with a dedicated focus on developing large-scale renewable energy. We are expanding our development activities worldwide and currently looking for a talented colleague to become part of our journey in the Pacific region!

You will join our Onshore Development team in Melbourne, which is engaged in developing onshore wind, solar, battery and pumped hydro storage and Power-to-X (PtX) projects. Our team spans a wide range of competencies, and it is engaged in a wide variety of activities, including providing accelerator services, due diligence, development management services such as project management, land securing, permitting, supply chain & procurement, civil, electrical & resource engineering, commercial and business case evaluations.

This is a unique opportunity to obtain extensive and varied experience in the onshore development of wind, solar, battery and pumped hydro storage and PtX projects and the many phases of renewable energy project development from inception to commercial operation handover. You will be exposed to technical subjects, permitting, commercial negotiations and a project’s financial elements, providing you with a broad insight into and an opportunity to engage with the entire value chain.

Your role is multifaceted, including coordinating or leading the engineering of all aspects of your allocated onshore renewable energy projects in the Pacific region on behalf of the Development or Project Manager. You will be the Pacific region’s subject matter expert and civil engineering representative, supporting the broader team. You’re responsible for the engineering deliverables of your allocated projects for our clients and their changing needs.

The role includes various topics, and you will most likely be involved in projects outside your usual area of expertise. Therefore, the right candidate will display a high level of perseverance combined with a natural curiosity and passion for acquiring new knowledge to navigate ambiguous topics and tasks.
