Description:
Reporting to the General Manager, Production, Liebherr-Australia has an exciting and newly created opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join our passionate and dedicated team. Responsible for the provision of effective; Leadership, Management and Coordination of Special Projects, this role is responsible to ensure all special projects are co-ordinated and executed in accordance with the relevant project specifications.
- Provision of effective; Leadership, Management and Coordination of Project specifications
- Develops project; scope, plans, costs, schedules, and develops risk mitigation strategies to ensure integration services are delivered on time, to budget and to specification.
- Provision of co-ordination between various factories, management and all other stakeholders engaged is the successful execution of new projects.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyses information skilfully, develops alternative solutions, works well in group problem solving situations and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
- Maintain and develop capability that supports effective project management
- Ensures relevant HSE and QA processes that support integration outcomes are implemented and complied with.
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree in relevant Project Management discipline is essential
- A clear and confident communication style with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
- Ability to work to deadlines in a face paced environment
- Proficient computer skills
- The ability to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
