Project Engineer- Operational Dewatering Projects

Work Location: Perth

Roster: Monday - Friday

Reporting to the Project Manager, our Project Engineers take a front- line role in ensuring that our dewatering infrastructure projects are delivered in the safely and in line with scope, schedule and budget requirements.

Our Project Engineers are highly experienced in the construction of mine site dewatering infrastructure, they work collaboratively with contractors and stakeholders to solve problems and deliver high quality infrastructure to the end user, on time and on budget.

Key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Scoping of projects
  • Design Review
  • Budget and Capital Expenditure review and submission
  • Project Tender and Award Responsibility
  • Scope, schedule and budget compliance throughout delivery
  • Provide support to the site team for safety and quality requirements throughout project delivery

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with Contract and Contractor Management
  • Experience in providing leadership and direction to multidisciplinary teams
  • Trade qualified or minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Maintenance program coordination
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication skills. Having the demonstrated ability to liaise and interact with individuals and groups of varying levels of authority
  • High level of organisation skills and an ability to meet deadlines whilst managing multiple functions simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and associated costs for control management and reporting functionalities

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Civil engineer or equivalent degree
  • 3+ years' relevant experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with a variety of workgroups and backgrounds
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite
