The Opportunity

Right now, we have a fixed-term full time Project Engineer opportunity available within our Regional and Outer Metropolitan Division. As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for delivering road maintenance projects in order to achieve road safety, asset management and network efficiency objectives. This position is located primarily in our Wagga Wagga office with travel requirements across the South West region of NSW.

We place a high priority on making safety paramount, both for the people working on our project sites and for customers travelling through them. In delivering our work, we work closely with our stakeholders and customers to ensure their views are heard and considered.

What you will be involved in:

• Managing the project and delivery process including the delivery of direct control teams to successfully undertake road maintenance projects and ensure projects are developed and delivered to agreed time, cost, quality and scope requirements.
• Implement effective cost management systems to ensure effective financial management of projects.
• Managing the project planning, monitoring and reviewing of ongoing maintenance works programs to make effective use of resources and deliver agreed objectives
