Project Coordinator

 

Description:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join the Learning Design and Innovation (LDI) unit at Swinburne University. Reporting to the Manager Projects and Proposals and under the direction of the Director of LDI, you will be responsible for the effective support and coordination of project tasks, along with financial and human resources systems processes.

Working in collaboration with the other staff of LDI, you will work collaboratively with team members according to identified needs. The position requires communication with relevant staff at various levels within the broader Swinburne Edge team to ensure a coordinated, effective and efficient approach to the support of projects and associated activities.

  • Highly developed verbal and written communication and demonstrated computer skills including the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines without compromising attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience working in a customer service or administrative role within an educational institution with a proven record of coordinating stakeholder enquiries and a demonstrated commitment to customer service is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and work effectively in a team environment across a large and diverse organisation to achieve outcomes is required.
  • Completion of an Associate Diploma level qualification with relevant work related experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience.
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
