About the role

This is a unique opportunity to join the experienced, established Client Experience and Empowerment (CEE) team charged with supporting Yooralla to realise its strategic ambitions

The primary objective of this role is to manage delivery of three Human Rights programs being (i) Supported Decision Making; (ii) Self-advocacy; and (iii) My Identity, My Choice, aimed at improving the lives of people with disabilities, their families, and supporters. There will be 67 workshops run across these three streams over 6-9 months.

Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, the Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in engaging all stakeholders, clients, families, supporters, and those delivering the programs including managing all communication, logistics, reporting and evaluations. Some of the key tasks include (but not limited to):

  • Facilitate engaging and inclusive workshops and sessions for various participant groups
  • Develop effective stakeholder management and communication plans aimed at maximising the uptake and attendance in the programs
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate project plans and program delivery schedules
  • Establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks for each stream including presenting reports to the SLT

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in project management and/or, planning, facilitation, delivery of education training programs, ideally for people with disability
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and the ability to bring together a wide variety of resources to achieve specific goals
  • Strong Project Planning skills including a high level of literacy with the software tools necessary to plan and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to undertake site visits, build relationships and engage internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational, communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to showcase resilience and adaptability in the face of challenge
