Your Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate 5-8 years of post-graduate architectural experience, either in Australia or overseas. Additionally, you must have at least 3 years of experience in apartments applications for DA, and experience in managing other team members.

As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with consultants, local councils, and clients. It is essential that you are proficient in using Revit and possess advanced SketchUp skills, as these are key software packages that our office uses for the majority of projects.

• Manage projects independently, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets and quality standards
• Lead and manage our Global teams in delivering the assigned projects
• Communicate effectively with consultants, local councils and clients
• Provide design input and technical expertise in all phases of projects
• Utilize advanced skills in REVIT, SketchUp, Indesign, and Enscape to produce high-quality designs
• Ensure compliance with building codes and standards, including BCA, ADG, LEP and DCP
• Manage and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and quality
• Prepare and present design proposals and reports to clients and stakeholders
• Continuously keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technology, and innovations
• Assist in the development of project bids, including the production of design and technical documentation
• Contribute to the improvement of office-wide systems, processes, and workflows.
