The Project Officer plays a pivotal role within the Division of External Engagement, overseeing and implementing a range of strategic programs of work including the design, development and delivery of key projects and initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will work with a great team passionate about what they do. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of interesting projects across the whole university, delivering a wholistic streamlined approach to project management for the Division.

• Provide high level visibility of project workstreams, escalations and workload challenges
• Manage strategic projects and initiatives for the division, from concept to completion
• Formulate and maintain collaborative relationships with external stakeholders
• Identifying and proactively managing and mitigating risks, reporting and evaluation
• Collaborate, advise, communicate and engage with stakeholders
• Monitor budgets and timelines through effective project management
• Project experience, with an understanding of the project life cycle and development
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbally) and stakeholder management
• Proactive and collaborative with high attention to detail
• An ability to take personal accountability for achieving high quality outcomes
• Someone who takes initiative and can work autonomously
