An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified person to join the Centre for Genetics Education team within the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) as a Program Lead, General Education, supporting state-wide education.

The role is based at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards - a brand new, purpose-built campus that is well serviced by public transport. The building offers activity-based working with agile and flexible workspaces and the latest in technology, modern end-of-trip facilities, secure bicycle storage. There is an onsite cafe and a 100 space childcare centre.

The Centre for Genetics Education (CGE) is a trusted educational body dedicated to preparing NSW Health clinicians with the skills and knowledge to confidently manage the increasing role of genetic and genomic healthcare technologies on their practice.

This position is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and evaluation of state-wide educational resources to meet the needs of NSW Health clinicians, in line with HETI objectives. This includes leading a range of initiatives in collaboration with clinical experts and other stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will have tertiary qualifications in a health related field (such as genetic counselling) and adult education or relevant experience, highly effective communication and project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve outcomes.
