About the role
We are seeking an innovative, passionate and experienced Director to lead our Older Adults Program. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to making a positive difference in the community, taking an active role in leading and delivering high quality client outcomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic improvements across service delivery and ensuring best practice therapeutic interventions and supports across EACH for Older Adults services.
As a sector thought leader you will be fully appraised of the recommendations coming out of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety and the implications of relevant legislative changes. Further, you will equip and position EACH through creating appropriate partnerships and contemporary Models of Care to be competitive in securing a portion of the growth opportunities available.
Utilising established and proven collaboration skills, this role will see you continue to develop and maintain positive relationships with funding bodies, partner organisations and other key stakeholders, ensuring constant focus on the delivery of EACH’s organisational objectives. You will oversee planning and implementation of all dimensions of EACH Quality, Risk Management, and OH&S target/outcome acquittal, with reporting and ongoing documentation expected.
As an accomplished leader, you will utilise your complex and specialist professional skills to evaluate processes and provide solutions, along with your up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations that apply to community services and the provision of services, to promote a customer centric approach.
Reporting to the Executive Director - Operations, you will work collaboratively with the wider leadership team to provide advice and strategic decision-making on key programs, services and initiatives that aim to strengthen EACH’s reputation in the sector.

As the Director – Older Adults, you will bring significant and diverse experience in direct client services, have strong established relationships with external stakeholders, and will grow and promote our reputation as a leader in the Community Health Sector. You’re dedicated to delivering a team that are equipped to provide high-quality care to our clients.
With a strong business acumen, your ability to identify required improvement strategies and then collaboratively engage, influence and implement processes and tools that improve overall service delivery will be crucial.
This role will see you implement and manage initiatives that strengthen integrated and coordinated care including those that strengthen high quality multidisciplinary team work. You will support and empower senior staff to develop team skills and knowledge through training, coaching and role modelling.
With a relevant tertiary qualification, you possess an inherent understanding of current evidence-based practices, legislation, reform, research and trends, as well as the ability to strategically develop and manage large budgets whilst identifying areas of cost savings and continual improvement.
