Your role

 

You'll be a part of our Banking & Finance team in Sydney, working on an on-going major project for one of our major clients.

Working closely with our client team, you will gain exposure to multiple high-paced, complex and interesting transactions for this global, market leading client.

You'll have the opportunity to engage with a number of different Partners within your practice group and build a strong foundation of legal knowledge within the client's sector, as well as having direct client interaction on a daily basis.

As a Professional Paralegal in this role, you will:

  • Assess instructions/information requests
  • Consider the structure of the transaction and any relevant legal issues
  • Draft and negotiate legal documents and correspondence
  • Deal with the client, its customers and their lawyers directly
  • Arrange and check execution of legal documents
  • Attend to financial settlement, including via PEXA
  • Attend to registrations, including PPSR and PEXA.

About you

You will have:

  • Experience working as a paralegal or junior lawyer in a law firm or legal environment
  • Exceptional organisational skills and project management skills
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities and anticipate client needs
  • Legal technology experience, including PEXA and PPSR
  • A customer centric attitude and exceptional client and people skills
  • A passion for precision
