About The Role
- Project production-planning, material-control, and material movement logistic within the plant.
- Ensure the production control strategies are defined for each project and implemented step by step.
- Manage the interface with purchasing, warehousing, methods and production to ensure effective development of strategies to optimise the planning and coordination of work and material across the projects.
- Create and maintain necessary project data for new projects (e.g. manufacturing calendars, warehouses, work centres, order series for purchase orders, work orders etc.
- Ensure that production orders are scheduled and released according to the (MPS) Master Production Schedule and production line requirements.
- Monitor quality performance and strive for continued improvement in quality outcomes.
- Ensure risks are accurately identified, contained and countermeasures put in place.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, mechanical or electrical trade, project management or similar.
- Experience in Infrastructure, Machining and/or Manufacturing.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in production control or project management.
- Experience in heavy engineering make-to-order project environment would be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels, written and verbal
