About the role

As Data Zoo's Product Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for leading strategic development, creation and execution - shaping the voice and value of Data Zoo. You will be a critical connection between product, sales, customer and business development teams, helping influence product strategy while working closely with the Brand & Communications Manager on our go-to-market strategy. In addition, you will be working across the development and launch of our new patented product.

 

We are counting on you

  • for market understanding - Undertake and oversee; market, customer and competitive research to segment the market and produce buyer insights, identifying what opportunities, challenges and dynamics exist
  • to create positioning, messaging, storylines and content - Develop clear and crisp positioning that will guide messaging and other go-to-market strategies, including helping create storylines and content to communicate value across all stages of the buying journey
  • to guide product strategy - Collaborate with internal teams and customers to uncover latent market needs and understand value-based behaviours and perceptions to drive prioritisation of roadmap features, lead new product launches and generate product demand
  • to drive impact - Create, implement and refine programs that enable market-facing staff to understand better and address buyer wants and needs, while also helping drive adoption and retention with existing customers
  • to close the gap - Work with rural, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander primary schools to promote a learning environment that fosters positive interaction and engagement through technology

 

Skills and qualification required to perform this role

  • 3-5 years of product marketing experience, with exposure to B2B technology marketing
  • Able to deliver clear, compelling and articulate written and verbal communications, with the ability to build enthusiasm for new plans
  • A good eye for balancing user experience and design that will resonate with targets
  • The ability to analyse and interpret different datasets to validate and uncover insights, and the willingness to change direction based on results
  • Experience across project planning and management, and working end-to-end with go-to-market strategies
  • As Data Zoo is a fast-growing and paced workplace, managing multiple projects at once is essential
  • A team player that is happy to lead and help out where needed
