Description:

This AD, Product Marketing is a 12-month parental leave cover, responsible for driving consideration and sales of Optus Consumer Mobile including Postpaid, Prepaid, Connected Devices and SubHub, with responsibility for reaching demand targets across website visits, retail footfall and telesales calls, as well as a key contributor to achievement of Omnichannel sales targets.

The role also ensures that acquisition advertising activity exemplifies and continually strengthens our Optus Brand Strategy, Brand Framework and Brand Creative approach, establishing Optus as an authentic fabric brand and ensuring world class creative execution.

Key to the success of this role is effective collaboration with the wider Optus marketing team, other internal stakeholders (product, GTM, sales, legal), agency partners, advertising platforms and technology vendors. The output of this will be a data and audience-led, highly engaging and seamless customer experience from advertising through to sales channel.

Your Skills To Pay The Bills,
 

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Advertising.
  • Proven experience in agency, media or marketing exposure.
  • Strong understanding of acquisition marketing strategy and delivery of targeted and timely multi-channel activity.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimise the media mix and creative execution to drive demand and Omnichannel sales results.
  • Strategic thinking to anticipate consumer needs and make sense of analytics.
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members, successfully managing performance to achieve continuous improvement of team capabilities.
  • Highly engaged in the delivery of results with the ability to drive timely optimisation.
