Product Manager

 

Description:

This role is pivotal in the development and implementation of all elements of the marketing mix in order to meet and exceed budgeted volumes, revenues and profitability of the Fragrance and Skincare portfolios.

What Will You Do?
 

  • Assist with the preparation of relevant product plans, undertake category analysis and review consumer insights to grow the makeup portfolio;
  • Plan, forecast, implement and review f ragrance and skincare launches in line with global and local requirements. This includes the delivery of marketing led 360 campaigns support activities;
  • Engage and work collaboratively with CRM and visual merchandising teams on activation development and in-store launch plans;
  • Develop and implement POS collateral programs, track campaign progresses and post-campaign analysis, process point of sales allocations and communicate with the field teams accordingly;
  • Manage forecasts and product life cycles across the fragrance and skincare portfolios. This includes forecasts of active, discontinued and runout stock of both selling and non-selling products;
  • Work closely with the supply chain, sales operations and VM teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of stock and point of sales materials for campaigns. Manage replenishment orders as needed;
  • Engage in business analysis activities such as the preparation of campaign and brand reports, competitor activity monitoring, pricing studies and other qualitative and quantitative market trend analysis. 
     

What Are We Looking For?
 

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related discipline;
  • At least 5 years’ work experience in marketing analytics, preferably gained in the beauty or personal care industry;
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications;
  • Superior numerical and data analysis capabilities – experience with modelling tools would be advantageous;
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with an ability to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively;
  • Demonstrated capability to set priorities and manage competing demands;
  • Possess a genuine passion and appreciation for the luxury and beauty industry.
