As our newest Product Designer, you’ll take on complex problems and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs - for the first-time user to the seasoned expert.

We’re looking for someone focused 70% on UX design, and 30% on UI design, you’ll need to be confident in end-to-end product design. Achieving this goal requires collaboration with teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers and Product Managers throughout the design process—from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes.

At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them and ensure that the final product engages and delights them.

You have a self-starter mindset, you’re efficient at keeping to timelines in a continuous delivery environment, and you can manage your time and stakeholder expectations effectively.

You quickly produce low fidelity prototypes to validate your assumptions and help in decision making with the wider team, and add fidelity as required to help developers interpret designs. You’re a natural collaborator and can work independently and in a team environment.

We're looking for:

• A product designer who isn't afraid to jump in and advocate for best design practices.
• Someone who enjoys and is effective in working in strong cross-functional teams, including engineering and product managers.
• An ability to craft a strong design rationale, and confidently lead methodology in a team with relatively low design maturity, who are curious and eager to become more human-centered.
• A desire to contribute to a scale-up business with a developer focused products.

We’d be delighted to hire someone who has:

• Solid experience in UX and sound UI skills.
• A strong technical background and proven record of communication and collaboration with engineers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile, Android and iOS.
• Self-motivated, able to prioritise and manage workload and meet critical project timelines.
• Strong communication skills in terms of explaining rationale and advocating for an approach or outcome that is in the best interest of our users, as well as solid writing skills.
• Desire to produce the best experience in the industry.
• Capacity to think holistically and see the bigger picture.
