An exciting opportunity with a world-class iconic precinct within the entertainment and sporting space in their HQ. This role is ideally positioned for an experienced procurement professional with an interest in engaging in a diverse range of procurement across goods and services, construction, and major projects. As a new role, the scope and opportunity to make this yours is unlimited.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, this newly created role has come about as a result of the maturation of the procurement function. In this role you will provide expert advice and operational support across all levels of procurement, with a primary focus on higher value and higher complexity categories including major tendering activities, organisation-wide contracts, and commercial negotiations.

  • Support to Head of Procurement in developing and delivering strategic procurement objectives and programs
  • Development of category strategies for areas of spend
  • Targeted support for tendering and other major procurement activities
  • Management of State Purchasing Contract requirements and company-wide purchasing agreements
  • Development and reporting on the Trust’s Forward Procurement Plan
  • Procurement and contract management advisory
  • A Bachelor of Business or similar will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience in improving procurement processes, and in developing effective procedures, policies and guidelines
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and supporting the implementation of strategies, plans and initiatives in collaboration with a wide group of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, together with demonstrated interpersonal skills for communication with internal and external stakeholdersFully flexible wfh arrangement with no fixed days in the office
