Procurement Officer

 

Description:

A local government organisation is seeking a confident Procurement Officer to assist them in delivering an efficient and effective procurement service to Council's business units.
 

 

Some responsibilities include:
 

  • Assisting with the preparation and publishing of procurement documents in accordance with legislation, Council's procurement policies/procedures, including established insurance, WH&S and environmental policies.
  • Publishing and managing procurement documents, using electronic or automated processes, in accordance with legislation and procedures.
  • Facilitating the management and evaluation of procurement submissions with Business Units.
     

Must Haves
 

  • End to end procurement experience
  • Experience of working in a high-volume environment
  • Knowledge of NSW Local and State Government contracts, policies and regulations.
  • Local, State or Federal Government experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of SAP, contract management module.
