The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join our Business Management team within CST. This is Permanent Full-Time opportunity with a base location in Macquarie Park currently working hybrid.

As a Procurement Officer you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of each stage of the procurement process, guiding the project teams to ensure effective administration of all procurement processes ensuring compliance with Transport for NSW and NSW Government procurement policy, processes, procedures and governance frameworks.

Some of these responsibilities include but are not limited to, raising shopping carts, managing purchase orders, organising and retaining procurement records for the branch in order to compile statistics and prepare reports as well as managing the contracts and extending these contracts where required and keeping all trackers monitoring procurement activities up to date.

This role will mainly look after professional services procurement, this includes, software licences, staff labour hires and data acquisition.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Experience supporting the end to end lifecycle of the procurement process.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple actions at various stages of the lifecycle.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience using Objective would be a benefit but not essential.
