The Fred Hollows Foundation is looking for Process and Systems Adviser.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal applicant will be a strong stakeholder manager, with outstanding organisational skills. You will possess a high attention to details, coupled the ability to meet tight deadlines. You will be culturally sensitive, ideally with experience in a diverse/ global environment. You will be a people person, with a team focused approach, while also possessing with the technical knowhow to be effective in this role. You will have working knowledge of data visualisation and business intelligence tools (PowerBI or equivalent). You will have experience using the Microsoft Power Platform and a strong background in SQL and/or other database tools.

 

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Foundation’s Programs Division oversees the delivery of eye health programs in over 20 countries and through more than 150 implementing partners. The Division maintains a Programs Continuous Quality Improvement Roadmap (PCQIR) which maps areas of continuous improvement in the program management cycle – including change to systems, processes, frameworks and reporting. This role will coordinate the delivery of this Roadmap to ensure there is a holistic approach to system and process change affecting the Programs Division, including global and country staff and implementing partners.

The role will also be the technical lead supporting the Division to articulate its Business Needs and to be a critical link between the Programs and Technology teams to program management associated system development and roll out. The role sits within the Program Implementation team, which is responsible for supporting The Foundation’s overseas Country Teams and managing program delivery. It therefore, has a strong focus on representing the diverse working requirements of our implementation teams and ensuring the system and process change is paced and designed in a way that is cognisant of both global office and country office needs.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the coordinated work of delivering against the Programs Continuous Quality Improvement Roadmap – including supporting the prioritisation, governance, design, socialisation and roll out mechanisms with key stakeholders in the Programs Leadership Group and PCQIR Working Group
  • Coordinate and project-manage efforts to design and build process enhancements and supporting system functions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (“the Accelerator”), ensuring they align with the needs of country teams and the PCQIR.
  • Support the Reporting and Data Analytics lead to design and manage reports and dashboards for Programs performance, targets and planning using a variety of internal data sets
  • Chair the internal cross-Divisional working group to manage Programs Division related system improvements – including liaison with technology team, Subject Matter Experts. Change team and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular review and feedback sessions to identify gaps and future business needs to support ongoing improvements and developments in programs processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with the business and IT teams to support new business systems, integrations and process changes in order to continually improve organisation data and analysis to facilitate improved business decision making
  • Support the Reporting and Data Analytics Lead to build a culture of data literacy, accountability, responsiveness, engagement and collaboration within The Foundation to ensure assurance actions are shared and undertaken to improve our risk, compliance and safeguarding culture
  • Support the Head of Program Implementation to build a culture of business partnering and responsiveness that balances global and country office requirements, operating contexts, and priorities
  • Other tasks as requested by your manager.

 

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Experience identifying business needs of complex team and demonstrating understanding of downstream impacts of system/process change
  • Experience coordinating change processes from conception to roll out
  • Strong experience in educating, supporting, and engaging with business users in the rollout of new processes and systems to diverse users.
  • Experience working successfully with diverse teams – especially noting cultural, geographic and resource setting diversity.
  • Experience working with large volume of data in a complex environment.
  • Ability to work with standalone systems and data flows and provide combined intelligence where possible.
  • Experience with creating workflow automations.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools preferably Power BI.
