Pro Vice Chancellor Future Students

This exciting strategic leadership opportunity is a newly created role within Swinburne’s External Engagement portfolio to lead the University’s student recruitment function.

As the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Future Students (PVC, FS) you will direct and coordinate the priorities of internal stakeholders to present the University’s domestic and international student recruitment operations as a cohesive and market-leading operation.

The PVC, FS will develop and maintain a strategy to drive a sustainable, profitable, and diverse growth in load and revenue across domestic and international student markets will be the focus of this role. You will do this by identifying growth opportunities of student intakes and ensuring that the student acquisition activities are effective and efficient in progressing interest through to enrolment at every stage of the prospective customer journey.

The role will oversee an operating model and resource allocation that facilitates the end-to-end pipeline of potential students from lead management and outreach through to commencement that encompasses both domestic and international student recruitment.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

• Proven strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills with the ability to structure and convert strategies into compelling and achievable work programs.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies related to growing student demand.
• A proven track record in implementing change and innovation across a complex organisation, including the ability to engage staff throughout the process.
• Proven high-level interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to foster collaboration with a range of stakeholders across all levels within an organisation.
• Proven ability to exercise initiative and high-level judgement and to work independently when meeting project objectives, that are consistent with the University’s strategic direction and priorities.

Qualifications
A relevant postgraduate qualification and extensive management and leadership experience.
