Description:
The practice is seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Manager/Executive Assistant to join the team. This position will involve working closely with the Senior Principal Owner Cardiologist and overseeing various aspects of practice management, marketing, and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and providing exceptional patient care and service.
Responsibilities:
- Personal Assistant to the Principal Owner , specialist doctor, providing comprehensive support in day-to-day activities, scheduling, and coordination.
- Practice management, including organising GP educational events, managing accounts (bills, employee and doctor pays), preparing weekly reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the development of health awareness and prevention programs.
- Maintain professional relationships with clinical staff, medical doctors, and other stakeholders.
- Efficiently purchase stock and supplies to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Ensure exceptional service delivery by providing patients with outstanding care, support, and service, tailoring treatment coordination to meet individual needs, and delivering clear and timely information.
- Make timely decisions to resolve or escalate problems that arise in the day-to-day management of the business, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources.
- Implement business objectives, policies, and procedures to the clinic team, and provide leadership, direction, resources, and development opportunities to reporting staff.
- Foster a supportive and engaged culture within the clinic, promote workplace health and safety, and ensure compliance with relevant protocols and procedures.
- Monitor, manage, and report on the performance of reporting staff, providing feedback, clarification of performance expectations, and authorising leave requests.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a health-care or medical environment.
- Satisfactory National Police Certificate.
- Competency in leadership, development, and mentoring of others.
