Power Platform Developer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Power Platform Developer to work with a State Government Department. The Power Platform Developer position is responsible for the

overall development and management of Power Platform and SharePoint Online solutions for the department. The position will help in development, support and management of build in applications.

This position will provide recommendations on how to maximize return on investment, implementation of best practices, improve scalability and availability while improving efficiencies.

The Power Platform - Developer position works within the Delivery, Service and Support (DSS)

processes and will help with:

• Managing service requests and incidents
• Managing problems
• Managing continuity
• Recommendations on build, acquire or implementation of new systems.
• Work with solutions architects and enterprise architects in helping design the future state
• Assisting with the development of both manual and system user procedures and ensure they are

documented, maintained, and understood by the user community.

• Ensuring build in application reference data is maintained and any alterations to existing reference data

is tested and communicated to relevant users

• Working as a team to ensure all business needs of the application is met
• Understanding V/line business process, information security, supporting requirements, and assisting

its staff in identifying opportunities.

• Ensuring continuous improvement of the Power Platform footprint. This involves refactoring, retiring

and re-platforming.

• Assess current data systems and provide recommendations on how to maximize productivity

by necessary investment to return the best business value.

• Design and Develop Power Platform and SharePoint Online applications, including the necessary

training and documentation maintenance.

• Manage Power Platform and SharePoint Online applications and its environment
• Designs, develops, and distributes technical reusable components.
• Assists with gap analyses highlighting current state, future state, customer needs, best practices, and

competition.

• Develop solution documentation and configuration / code comments.
