Portfolio Leader

 

Description:

The Portfolio leader is accountable for providing applications delivery expertise, development, maintenance, and support that ensures the stable operation of the organization’s applications and all the application interfaces which deliver the end-to-end service.

In this role, you will get to:

  • Own and manage aspects of the applications service lifecycle (Transition, Operations, Development, Continual Service Improvement)
  • Drives Customer centricity and is accountable to end to end services for the respective portfolio
  • Manage applications services execution and strategy by following IT Services Applications Delivery Framework.
  • Provide management cover during Australia Time Zone for Applications Services within IT Services Organization.
  • Drive, manage the resolution of any major incidents (P1, P2) by working closely with applications teams, various resolver groups and business partners.
  • Manage communications to all stakeholders during any critical outages and major incidents.
  • Implement the IT Services Metrics & Quality Program for all applications under relevant portfolio.
  • Track & drive the KPI’s derived from Metrics and Service Agreement.
  • Ensure consistent delivery and operation of the IT applications service(s) to agreed performance standards.
  • Track service performance against agreed service levels; remediate, as necessary.
  • Review & approve all Changes being implemented to the applications.
  • Comply with the Problem Management process by directing the application team for timely closure and documentation.
  • Have a strategy and actions to make sure that all the applications documentations are up to date. Follow IT Services guidelines for standard applications documentation.
  • Using POD model, Manage the development within the relevant applications portfolio.
  • Continually review opportunities to improve the IT service(s) and service provision processes; develop and execute improvement plans.
  • Participate in the IT Services Applications Workgroup and lead initiatives as assigned.
  • Highly effective relationships (internal and external) that explores and identify potential areas of mutual commercial interest for future development, maintains an overview of the contribution of service delivery arrangements to organizational and Customer success.
  • Creates an environment in which staff thrive, are engaged, and energized to contribute, who derive personal and professional fulfilment and perform at their optimum.
  • Bring industry best practice to ensure cost effective support & maintenance. To deliver OPEX budgets inclusive of stretch targets, Manage OPEX budget for applications, staff, and contractors.
  • Compliance with ITIL processes for Support and Agile (POD model) for Development.
