Due to rapid growth of the sales team and an increased solution offering, there is a need for a ManagerPortfolioAccountstomanage aspects of the sales team, andcoachteam members. The Manager Portfolio Accounts is responsible for achievingindividual andteamrevenuetargets andrequiresstrong coaching and mentoring skills we well asprovencapabilities in business to business sales.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Portfolio Sales (SMPS), this role focuses on developing relationships with internal and external clients and delivery partners, as well as identifying and progressing opportunities for businesswithin new and existingaccounts.Theseopportunitieswill beB2B,andfocusedon the holistic offering across all Swinburne Edge divisions: (including but not limited to), Centre for the New Workforce, Learning and Design Innovation and the Swinburne Edge suite of Learning and Development programs.
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated capacity to initiate, build and develop sustainable relationships at the senior levels of public and private organisations resulting in the effective selling of consulting solutions that deliver value to clients and achieve individual and team. revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated operations consulting experience in a Tier 1 consulting firm, a boutique consulting house or within an in-house consulting/advisory practice.
  • Extensive experience in winning and delivering - either independently and/or through managing a consulting team - medium to large scale transformative workforce strategy, learning & development, organisational culture change consulting projects (or equivalent) in medium to large organisations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of consulting services sales and associated processes including the ability to design and implement consulting solutions, with the ability to recognise and capitalise on market opportunities, including the enhancement of an existing consulting solutions portfolio and/or the introduction of new products and solutions that meet market needs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including and the ability to prepare high quality client proposals, presentations and reports.
  • Proven ability to sell and manage sales pipelines through a universal CRM, track activity and achieve personal and team revenue and performance targets.

Relevant postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in a consulting sales/business development role. Proven expertise in the management of human and material resources in a consulting practice environment.
