The Player Development Manager is a full time position responsible for the implementation of best practice programs and policies in the area of Personal Development, Health and Wellbeing, Career Planning and Education for players at the Adelaide Football Club.
Job Profile
- Build trust and valued relationships with all stakeholders involved in an athlete’s career.
- Coordination and implementation of the Club Player Development Manager processes.
- Coordination and implementation of best practice standards in the delivery of wellbeing and education programs for players.
- Provide a case management approach to ensure early intervention and management of player wellbeing.
- Provide guidance and support on wellbeing related issues in a professional and confidential manner when dealing with players.
- Provide advice and support to players in relation to higher education; including University, TAFE, Vocational Training, course selection and work experience opportunities.
