Platform Tools Engineer

Description:

The Naval Combat Systems 9LV Platform is a Linux based secure runtime platform upon which the 9LV CMS runs, and in which CMS and other product development and test are carried out, worldwide. The Pipeline Product consists of the 9LV Platform-specific development pipelines, development tools and infrastructure.

The Platform Tools Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, test and documentation of Platform pipelines, toolchain, development tools and build infrastructure, supporting Naval Combat Systems projects with the 9LV CMS computing platform in Australia and worldwide, in collaboration with the global 9LV Pipeline and Platform teams.

Further, the successful candidate will:
 

• Participate in close collaboration with the global Pipeline team and evolve the Australian Pipeline product effectively and in line with the global product while meeting the needs of the local 9LV CMS projects and software developers
• Work with the local Naval Combat Systems 9LV Platform and 9LV CMS project teams as required
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders and the international Pipeline team.
• Plan, prioritise and deliver assigned tasks within the agreed scope, and schedule
• Reporting on task progress
• Design and implementation of new Pipeline capabilities
