Main Duties
You will be responsible for:
- Communicating with other engineers, foremen, and supervisors to ensure a full understanding of the information provided
- Requiring some interstate travel based on different projects
- Managing the installation of temporary works and safety on site
- Preparing short-term programs as required
- Preparation of method statements and risk assessments as required
- Ensuring that additional works and/or variations are notified for inclusion in the monthly valuations and providing comprehensive records
- Keeping a full and accurate daily site diary
- Ensuring that proper records are kept and carefully filed
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and Geotechnical background and confidence in all aspects of piling
- 5-10 years experience as a Project Manager
- Previous experience in piling such as Rotary Bored, CFA, Driven, Diaphragm wall, and Secant Wall
- Previous experience in ground engineering such as Deep/shallow soil mixing, and Stone Columns
- Be able to work as part of a team, and drive the project
- Possess strong time management skills
