Physiotherapist

We are seeking Physiotherapists to join our friendly and supportive Home and Community Care Team based in Northam. This is an autonomous role that requires you to travel throughout Northam and the surrounding Wheatbelt towns providing care to our clients in the community.

As a Juniper Physiotherapist you will use evidence-based interventions and a reablement approach to improve the independence of clients. Whilst working in this rewarding role you will be a valued member of our multi-disciplinary team and enjoy our culture of team collaboration. Successful candidates will have access to pool cars or paid mileage, as well as a laptop and phone.

We are currently hiring for multiple flexible roles, which can be full-time or part-time, with a maximum of 75 hours per fortnight. Work hours are Monday to Friday during core business hours. Shifts and hours will be negotiated with successful candidates and there is capacity for a partially hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individual client care plans
• Develop and implement individual and group exercise programs
• Equipment assessment and prescription
• Support client independence whilst communicating effectively with clients and their families
• Maintain accurate client records

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required

• Tertiary qualification and current registration with AHPRA
• A valid driver’s licence and reliable car
• Ability to relate to elderly clients with empathy whilst working effectively with other health professionals and service providers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Received at least two covid-19 vaccinations and have had, or willing to obtain, influenza vaccination annually
