Key Responsibilities 

What will you be doing?

As a Performance consultant, you will liaise into our top tier client base embedding performance quality into their software delivery lifecycle. Using your passion for application performance, problem solving and analytic skills you will deliver risk based and fit for purpose performance testing and monitoring solutions on schedule and to the highest quality.

How can you ensure your success?

• Develop and implement risk-based performance test strategies at project and organisational level in collaboration with key stakeholders, managing delivery expectations
• Engineer ways of working to ensure appropriate tools are utilised in the execution of performance test initiatives with an emphasis on quality
• Provide thought leadership around performance testing best practice, managing environments and troubleshooting issues when necessary
• Mentoring internal and external peers on framework and process adoption across cross functional teams while promoting a culture of knowledge sharing
   

Toolset/Experience Required 

What about the tech stack?

• Expertise in one of Microfocus LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, Tricentis NeoLoad or another similar tool along with programming/ scripting experience in C/C++, Java, Perl, Python, SQL is highly desirable
• Proven performance testing experience across multiple platform architectures and technologies such as micro-services, REST APIs is advantageous as is an exposure to project experience moving workloads to cloud environments including (AWS or Azure)
• Whilst not imperative additional exposure to open source data visualisation tools will set you apart as a superstar applicant
