About This Opportunity

The P&C Systems & Services Officer plays a vital role within the People & Culture team at Wellways, where our employees are our top priority. This position focuses on managing backend P&C processes, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of data and functionalities within P&C systems. Key responsibilities include employee data management, ensuring accurate and efficient reporting, and facilitating effective integration between various P&C systems.

By implementing best practices in integrated P&C system functionality, this role aims to enhance the employee experience by providing valuable tools and insights. The officer will support the P&C team in delivering a high-quality integrated human resources function, with accurate reporting at its core.

Key tasks include:
 

  • Maintaining the organizational hierarchy within the HCM to reflect budgeted positions and workforce changes.
  • Identifying automation opportunities to improve efficiency and data integrity, including workflow configuration analysis.
  • Understanding the relationships and integrations between various systems, such as rostering, HCM, and payroll.
  • Empowering operational line managers through support, training, and tools that enhance their understanding of P&C system functionalities.
  • Delivering insightful P&C system reports that incorporate workforce data analysis to guide organizational decisions and align with Wellways’ Workforce Plan.
  • Supporting the consistent application of core P&C processes—like recruitment, induction, and compliance—through effective data management and analytics.

     

In collaboration with the National Manager of P&C Services, Business Systems Transformation, Finance, and other relevant teams, the P&C Systems & Services Officer will assess existing and emerging HR systemic issues and propose recommendations to enhance practices within P&C systems. This position reports to the National Manager P&C Services and works closely with the entire People & Culture team.

What do you need?
 

  • Relevant HR and/or Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources Management or demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Experience supporting and driving project outcomes
  • Sound organisational skills, including the ability to deliver agreed results in a timely, efficient and customer-focused manner.
  • Evidence of working rights within Australia and 100 Points ID
  • Satisfactory pre-employment checks, including but not limited to National Police
  • Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children’s Check, LCS2
  • NDIS Orientation Module - ‘Quality, Safety and You’
