Description:
Calling out to an experienced Payroll Officer to take on this exciting opportunity within the professional services industry. You will be responsible for administering and maintaining the companies fortnightly payroll, ensuring the function operates in a timely and appropriate manner.
Your Day-to-day
- End-to-end payroll processing for employees and contractors, including ATO reporting, PAYG reports, superannuation payments, and government invoices.
- Providing timely and accurate advice, recommendations, and solutions for payroll-related queries.
- Generating accurate payroll reports.
- Identifying opportunities and risks, and suggesting process improvements.
- Interpreting and implementing Awards, EBAs, and contract provisions accurately.
- Processing and remitting Superannuation payments promptly.
- Coordinating invoice-related processes, such as raising invoices and liaising with financiers.
Who You Are
- Have experience in full, high volume payroll function.
- Previous experience working within a recruitment agency is beneficial but not essential.
- Have extensive experience on reputable payroll systems, such as Astute.
- Have strong verbal and written communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders face to face, over the phone, or virtually.
- Have the ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure, juggle multiple priorities and appropriately escalate issues.
