frank green is looking for Payroll Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- End to end responsibility for the payroll function of Frank green
- Payroll processing responsibilities including the input and review of all payroll related transactions including fortnightly salaried pay, casual pays, contractor pays and any other ad-hoc payroll payments.
- Processing of timesheets and ensure wages payments comply with awards
- Input and verification of authorised deductions ensuring relevant documentation has been received
- Monthly reconciliations for leave, payroll, salary sacrifice, payroll tax, group tax, WorkCover, superannuation and FBT, as well as all authorised payroll deductions.
- Process, maintain and reconcile salary sacrifice items and salary packaging arrangements
- Administer and process all disbursements/reimbursements.
- Calculate and process incentive and bonus payments
- Assist with the maintenance of salary data and record keeping ensuring wages payments comply with awards, arbitrated decisions and agreements.
- Maintain payroll system and HR files as required and within statutory requirements.
- Assist with month end operational reports.
- Provide payroll information, statistical data to Management as requested.
- Liaise and answer staff queries.
To be successful you will have:
- Certification/qualification in business/accounting/finance/book keeping.
- Substantial experience preparing and processing 100+ payroll
- Experience with employment awards particularly the Storage Services and Wholesale Award, the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award and the Clerks—Private Sector Award
- Proficient using Xero (or similar accounting/payroll software)
- Previous experience in an operations or manufacturing environment requiring the interpretation of timesheets, rosters and award provisions.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

- High level organisational, administrative and reporting skills
