    The Role

    You will receive full training and on the job guidance and get to work with a fun and collaborative team. You will commence on an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of being extended.

  • Manage end to end payroll including processing fortnightly payroll for 20 stores (with 20-40 employees each) weekly and 30 support office staff fortnightly (using Sage Micro Pay)
  • Prepare and maintain all payroll documentation 
  • Prepare, calculate and process long service leave and terminations where required 
  • Coordinating salary packaging for staff 
  • Payroll reporting including wage reports, leave reports, long service leave reports etc. 
  • Coordinating tax compliance with the ATO as required 
  • First point of contact for staff with payroll queries
  • Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience processing end to end payroll
  • Ability to understand and interpret Awards and EBAs
  • Strong payroll systems knowledge on Sage Micro Pay
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • The ability to self-manage and show initiative
