Payroll & Accounts Officer

 

Description:

Reporting to the Head of Finance, your role will include but not be limited to:
 

  • Weekly payroll calculation and processing for 80 employees
  • Award interpretation
  • PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover and Superannuation payments
  • Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
  • Prepare WorkCover reporting requirements and reconciliations for review and sign off by the Head of Finance
  • Processing annual, long service and personal leave
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable duties
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting the Head of Finance with other ad hoc finance related duties
     

Ideal Candidate
 

  • Previous experience in Payroll is essential
  • Effective time management & organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
