Patient Service Assistant

Description:

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Patient Service Assistant (PSA) to join the team at Northern Health's General Operating Thetare's in Epping.

This position requires the PSA to perform duties related to transporting, departemntal cleaning, maintaining equipment and assisting with patients within the perioperative environment. Ensuring theatre efficiency and safe patient outcomes within the perioperative environment.

This role requires the successful candidate to have the skills to work in a busy Operating theatre environment, autonomously and as part of the team.

Role

To be successful in this role you will have:
 

• Must hold a Certificate 3 in Patient Services awarded by a registered training organisation or equivalent qualification.
• Current National Police and Working with Children History Check
• Be able to work a rotating roster, inclusive of AM, PM, and Night Duty Shifts
• Proven ability to follow direction, work autonomously and part of a team
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
