We are currently recruiting for the role of Account Brand Manager; this is a permanent role, reporting into the Pacific Consumer Direct Marketing Director. Note that the successful applicant can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As the Brand lead on a key Account Team, you will be the voice of the account internally and the voice of Nike externally. You will be responsible for driving the implementation of our storytelling and experiences delivered to consumers. You will be at the forefront of identifying the shifts happening in our industry, then partnering with functional experts, respective categories, and the account to shape how we define the future of our connection to the consumer. Collaboration, strategic brief development, communication, planning, attention to detail, and creativity will be vital pieces of the job.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
 

  • Manage the seasonal planning process as it relates to the key account; including leading, contributing, and driving the seasonal plan for key product stories
  • Partner with the account, consumer brand and functional leads to craft a strategic vision for the account, driving the development and implementation of content and experiences both digitally and physically for the consumer
  • Align with sales and merchandising partners to identify key products and develop a clear seasonal account marketing calendar
  • Work with consumer brand leads to understand design, innovation and points of distinction for key product stories to be told across account digital and retail channels
  • Responsible for briefing product stories into external agencies, to deliver a holistic account marketing plan, in line with brand and business strategies
  • Management of global and geo stakeholders to ensure communication and alignment with global strategic accounts across countries is upheld and harnessed
  • Obsess the consumer journey, think digital first, ensuring there is a seamless on-line to off-line journey.


WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

Your role at Nike will be the face of the brand team to one of our largest partner marketing accounts in Pacific. You will work within the Consumer Direct Marketing team and report to the Consumer Direct Marketing Director. On the daily you will work closely with a number of key teams - the internal Nike Account team and the external Account team, the GEO Partner Marketing Director for holistic direction and partnership and at different points within a seasonal journey you will work back with the Pacific Consumer Brand team to gain alignment and partnership on your Account plans.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
 

  • University Degree (e.g. Bachelor’s), Subject area: Marketing or related field. 4 years of directly related marketing experience. 2 additional years in lieu of a vocational or university degree
  • A digital first mindset and eagerness to continue to push creative and strategic boundaries
  • Experience leading and driving end to end planning & the ability to masterfully juggle the details and the big picture
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience presenting to leadership teams, both internally and externally
  • Experience in working cross functionally, harnessing a collaborative team environment and being able to lead project work within a large dynamic team
  • Ability to understand challenges or underlying opportunities, share ideas, and develop effective responses
  • Adapts quickly to move at the pace of consumer and work in a constantly evolving environment, making decisive decisions when needed.
