Reporting to the Nutrition & Sustainability Manager based in North Ryde, we are currently looking for a Packaging Technologist to support the sustainable packaging element of our innovation agenda.
Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of the role of Packaging Technologist is to identify and implement sustainable new packaging formats, processes and technologies that both protect and sustain product quality, while meeting the changing needs of consumers.

• Develop new packaging solutions from concept through to commercialisation using the Tip Top NPD gate system and relevant systems and tools
• Build strong internal and external relationships to support the innovation and sustainable packaging agenda through identifying and implementing new/cutting-edge packaging solutions
• Play a key role in the discovery process identifying sustainable packaging solutions to identified opportunities
• Renovate current packaging to ensure it remains relevant and competitive
• Provide leadership in packaging technology
• Deliver cost saving initiatives through technical knowhow, creative approaches and working collaboratively with operations and procurement teams
