The Outside Sales Representative in the Australian Market is responsible for pursuing revenue-generating opportunities with highly valued existing and new travel industry partners.

B&R’s Outside Sales Representative will develop and deliver on plans to engage with industry partners within their dedicated market to meet company revenue targets and implement solutions to continuously improve valuable relationships with industry partners. Our ideal candidate is highly skilled in their field, can work under minimal supervision and on a flexible schedule. They are a self-motivated team-player with a passion for their work and the luxury travel industry.

 

This position has the following responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Australian travel market, including building relationships with travel agencies and other relevant partners.
  • Develop a deep understanding of B&R product offerings and effectively communicate the unique value proposition to the market.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential travel agents to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Provide training, support, and resources to travel agents to enhance their ability to sell B&R experiences effectively.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments within the Australian travel market to identify opportunities and inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, tracking progress against targets and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Periodic travel within Australia and internationally will be required to meet with travel agents, attend trade shows, and represent B&R Active Travel at industry events.

 

This position requires the following qualifications and experience:

  • Proven track record of experience and strong relationships in the travel industry; experience in outside sales or B2B sales is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the Australian travel market and experience working with travel agents is preferred.
  • Experience in the luxury travel industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Australia and internationally as required.
