Our client is a Global leader across several industries including Mining, Rail and IT and is looking for an experienced Outbound Sales Representative to join this newly created team in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, on a permanent basis. This exciting opportunity will see you working within a successful outbound sales team focused on delivering exceptional customer service and to aid the company through this growth period and beyond.

Role

Reporting to the Outbound Sales Team Leader, in this exciting and newly created role your responsibilities will include however won’t be limited to the following:

• Meet the outbound calling targets to your allocated accounts
• Promote the company’s products/services
• Answering phone/email inquiries regarding pricing, products, and stock levels
• Work closely with the Regional Sales Managers to exceed targets
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Use appropriate systems and tools to deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Process quotation requests within company guidelines ensuring all quotes are followed up and closed in a timely matter
• Share market knowledge regarding products and pricing with the appropriate Category member
• Participate in new product training

You:

• Previous experience in a similar inbound/outbound role
• A natural technical aptitude and ability to learn a range of technical and non-technical products
• Proven ability to develop effective relationships across multiple levels of customer organisations
• Results driven and will have a proactive approach to all aspect of sales
• Previous experience in working with CRM systems (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Professional and engaging phone manner
• You thrive on providing excellent customer service and always looking for opportunities to go above and beyond for the customer.
