Role Description

The Organisational Change Manager will be responsible for leading and implementing change management activities, in addition to supporting the project and business with the adoption of change. If all DEF100 positions are filled, and there are suitable candidates still available, this RFQ may be used by the GEOINT Capability Delivery Program and other Branches within AGO to fill relevant vacancies.
This position will be embedded within the business and report directly to the Capability Realisation Manager to ensure the business may realise benefits of sustainable reform.
The Organisational Change Manager will work closely with several project staff and key business owners to gain a strong understanding across the business, and ensure that change is embedded, the results sustained, and the benefits realised.
The program of work has multiple projects which range in size. The successful candidate may be required to work across one or more of these projects.

  • Qualification/s, knowledge and/or experience in Organisational Change Management frameworks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team to manage multiple projects with different deadlines.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop a business change implementation plan to identify required changes to processes, procedures, systems, structures, and/or ways of working.
  • Use appropriate processes and tools for leading the people side of change.
  • Implement organisational change management practices to support iterative/agile working.
  • Assess change readiness and capacity including but not limited to planning around key business cycles, and selecting appropriate customers for migration.
  • Work with the Communications Manager and Project Managers to engage and tailor communication with stakeholders and everyone impacted by the change/s.
  • Monitor the impact of the change management plan, and sustaining and embedding change.
