Organisation Development Project Officer

Public Sector People is proudly and exclusively partnering again with East Gippsland Shire Council to recruit an Organisation Development specialist. The role has a particular focus on providing high level administrative support to oversee the implementation of Council’s Gender Equity Action Plan.

The role will report to the Organisation Development Coordinator and will focus on core activities:
 

• Organisational Development and Continuous Improvement
• Help the proactive implementation of Gender Equality Program
• Administration Support in Corporate Planning and facilitating Meetings and Workshops.
   

To be considered for the role, it will be ideal that you have:
 

• Experience in organisation development, project management or related area.
• A genuine interest in supporting a Gender Equity Implementation Program.
• A proven capacity to develop and deliver programs.
• Good communication skills, to liaise at all levels with a culturally diverse group of people.
• Knowledge and understanding of Gender Equality Act 2020 and gender equality practice, programs, initiatives, and best practice would be highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Local Government systems, practices and relationships would be highly desirable.
• Effective planning, high level admin, and project management skills
• A current, valid Victorian driver’s Licence.
