Oracle Developer

Description:

Write rules in OIA’s Oracle Policy Modelling (OPM) development tool;

Enhance and support business systems through development, review and deployment of Java customisations for Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) solutions;

Administration of OIA application build and deployment scripts;

Produce technical solution documentation in detail;

Apply skills to integrate OIA with other applications and data sources when required; and

Elicit requirements from business owners and translate these requirements into specifications.

Essential Criteria:

Experience in Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) solutions, OIA including familiarity with the OIA connector framework, styling extensions and OIA APIs. Candidates who have experience in developing solutions in other business rules management systems (e.g. expert systems in an integrated environment) and are able to demonstrate an aptitude to quickly acquire OIA development skills may also be considered;

Experience writing rules in OIA’s Oracle Policy Modelling (OPM) development tool or equivalent experience in another business rules management toolset;

Ability to document technical solutions in detail;

Demonstrable architectural or business designer experience would be an advantage;

Skills in the integration of OIA with Siebel would be an advantage;

Ability to elicit requirements from business owners and translate these requirements into specifications;

Demonstrable experience applying a wide variety of Software Development methodologies including waterfall, agile etc.
