Description:
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will oversee, monitor performance and report on operations of assigned water assets to ensure business requirements are met and resource allocation is optimised.
This Role Is Responsible For
- Supervising and participating in the day-to-day activities of staff and contractors working in or around the plant, including administering rosters, assigning and delegating tasks, and monitoring workload and performance.
- Providing expertise, advice and direction utilising operational knowledge and problem-solving capabilities for assigned water treatment assets, and associated other water supply assets.
- Liaising with the Supervisor, Coordinator, maintenance providers and other technical experts in the identification and resolution of complex or unusual plant issues, planned and unplanned maintenance activities and process improvements.
- Identifying and undertaking continuous improvement activities and projects, such as the development and review of procedures, and processes to delivery prudent and efficient delivery of services and ensure ongoing service continuity.

- Unrestricted Driver’s Licence for a motor vehicle.
- High level of demonstrated experience in operating and optimising water treatment plants, and associated water supply infrastructure.
- Ability to lead and develop others to foster and develop effective productive work teams.
- Ability to identify and prioritise activities, risks and opportunities across a complex range of water sources.
