About the Role

The Graduate School of Health (GSH) are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 9 months. The Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for leading and managing the School’s operations and service delivery inclusive of financial management, procurement obligations, facilities management, governance and external engagement. The OM will develop and foster strong collaborative links across the School and the University to support effective and efficient operational management.

Detailed Description

As the Operations Manager you will be responsible to:• Identify, coordinate and manage continuous improvement of School wide business processes, providing recommendations and solutions to the School Manager.• Represent and advocate for the Faculty on University-wide projects and initiatives.• Manage strategic projects on behalf of the Head of School, including ensuring that the projects are on budget and effectively and efficiently planned, implemented, monitored and reviewed with timely communication to stakeholders.• Overseeing the transactional and financial functions associated with the School.• Provide an authoritative source of information to staff, students, faculties and other internal units within the University as well as external bodies.• Collaborate with the Manager, Graduate School of Health to guide recruitment and human resource activities.
