Description:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Coordinator (OC) plays a pivotal role in providing hands-on leadership to help individuals achieve their goals. The OC efficiently coordinates with participants, support workers, and stakeholders to deliver informed, strengths-based, person-cantered, culturally competent, and recovery-focused support. This role serves as a crucial link between the team responsible for service design and delivery and the Operations Manager, who oversees the development and delivery of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop NDIS service agreements and schedule supports tailored to participants' funding requirements and support needs.
• Effectively communicate with participants and stakeholders to identify their goals and support needs.
• Provide participants and stakeholders with comprehensive information on eligible support opportunities to promote choice and control.
• Offer coaching and guidance to establish and maintain support services that empower individuals to lead dignified lives in the community while retaining control over their support and services.
• Ensure compliance with privacy and data recording requirements, both legislative and organisational.
• Manage, source, and organise all information and records related to ACCS clients.
• Develop and maintain an updated knowledge of relevant sector and internal service pathways for the benefit of clients.
• Collaborate with other teams, both internal and external, to identify barriers and ensure effective service operation.
• Prepare performance reports that reflect progress toward performance targets and KPIs, promptly identifying barriers to service delivery.
• Cultivate a safety-focused culture, ensuring a secure environment for participants, stakeholders, and colleagues.
• Promote a clear vision of service quality, continuously reviewing and monitoring quality while driving innovation and improvement.
• Provide necessary internal and external reports.
• Perform support work when required.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
• Diploma/Certificate in Business, Community Services or a relevant qualification or experience.
• NDIS worker screening check or willingness to apply for one.
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
• Smartphone with the ability to install apps.
• Current first aid/CPR certificate or willingness to attain one.
• WA Class C Driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Knowledge of and/or experience in implementing procedural changes.
• Ability to analyse processes and make recommendations for procedure development and process improvement.
