Description:
This role will see you leading our passionate team of staff who provide care for antenatal and gynaecology patients in our busy outpatients department. Additionally, you will provide leadership and management for our Midwifery Group Practice midwives and Parent Education teams.
- Employment is with Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg
- Fixed term full time position
- Provide effective leadership and strategic direction within the unit
- Ensure high quality clinical practices and patient care
- Tactically manage the operational, financial, human and information resources within the unit

About You
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with AHPRA
- Post Graduate Degree (or working towards) in hospital or health services, administration, management or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years post graduate experience
- Demonstrated clinical leadership and knowledge related to midwifery and gynaecological nursing
- Awareness of financial and budgetary process
- Proven leadership and change management experience
- Demonstrated clinical innovation with high level change management
- Ability to work effectively in a job share role
